Sunday, May 22, 8 to 11 a.m. – Two workshops: First, making compost tea; then at 10, how to do standard composting. At the Garden School. Meet at the school’s 78th Street back entrance. Kids welcome. Dress for a possible mess and bring a small shovel and gloves if you have them.

Saturday, June 4,  Street-Tree Care. Learn how to take care of our street trees. One secret: It has to do with the space in which it grows. Exact time and location to be determined.
